Clara E. Gibbs, 93, of Findlay, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2025, at Taylor Place Assisted Living, in Findlay, Ohio. She was born on March 16, 1931, in Findlay, to the late Charles and Elizabeth (Bartchlett) Finerd. She married Ralph Grunden, and they later divorced. She married the love of her life, Donald Gibbs, on May 1, 1976, and he preceded her in death on August 12, 2021, after 45 wonderful years together.
Clara is survived by her children: Bonnie (Tom) Johnson, Dori (Jim) Bishop, Mike (Connie) Grunden, and John Grunden; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren; and her sister, Vera (Andrew - deceased) Sterling. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Gladys (John) Ricksecker, Rachel (Charles) Carmen, Dorothy (Theron) Cole, Bonnie (Orrville) Frantz, Carl (Gwen) Finerd, Nelly (Merle) Ireland, Ralph (Clarabelle) Finerd, Ruth (Virgil) Magarity, Robert (Patricia) Finerd, Charles (Janice)
