Emmet Wesley "Clem" ClementsEmmet Wesley "Clem" Clements passed away Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2024, at his residence.He was born June 13, 1927, in Wood County on Hammansburg Rd., to Clifford L. and Beulah Lytle Clements. He attended 11 different schools, Rollersville, Rudolph, Van Buren, Vanlue, Wayne, Arcadia, Glenwood, Findlay, McComb, and Mt. Blanchard, but never graduated.He was drafted into U.S. Army Air Corp. and spent 33 months in Iwo Jima during World War II. He was a diesel mechanic and elevated to the rank of Tech Sergeant.He is survived by three children, Charlotte A. Beckman, Linda S. Simon, and Bruce W. Clements; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.Clem was preceded in death by his loving wife, Patricia A. Woessner; and son, Wesley Dayne Clements.He owned A-1 body shop in Findlay, Chevrolet, and Superior Coach. He also worked as a concrete foreman at Enrico Fermi Power Plant where his claim to fame was pouring 36,000 yards of concret
