Allan J. "Al" BendaAllan J. "Al" Benda, 69, of Angola, Indiana, and formerly of Findlay, passed away peacefully Monday, Aug. 19, 2024, at Parkview Randallia Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana.He was born Dec. 8, 1954, in Brooklyn, Iowa, to Lester J. and Donna (Lepley) Benda.Al married the love of his life, Sharon K. Huff, on Sept. 6, 1998.He owned and operated Panther Automotive in McComb, retiring in 2019.Al was a member of Angola Moose Lodge.He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Sharon K. Benda of Angola, Indiana; children, Melissa D. (Jeff) Grimm of Johnston, Iowa, Jeffrey A. Benda of Portland, Oregon, Amber (Steve) Morris of Cygnet, and Kristy (Rusty) Teegardin of Hoytville; 11 beloved grandchildren; one precious great-grandchild with another one on the way; and sisters, Elaine (Dan) Wilcox of Johnson City, Tennessee, and Mary (Dennis) Flander of Montezuma, Iowa.Al was preceded in death by his parents; and son, Kory D. Conley.There will be no services at this time.
